To the right is an example diagram of a simple business network. It is easily managed and upgradable. It is protected from outside attack via the firewall between the modem and internal network.

Only two main entry points are available for attack (assuming the firewall is working correctly), the primary being the wireless access point, and the secondary being an internal attack by a disgruntled staff member or a break-in on the premises.

If the premises was to be compromised, data can further be secured by biometric fingerprint readers, voice recognition, rotating keys, with many more options available.
